About Pioneer Library

  Pioneer, Utah’s Online Library was created in 1996 through the combined  efforts 

  Utah’s public libraries, higher and public education, state government and the Utah

  Education Network. Pioneer Library provides electronic information resources to the

  students, teachers and citizens of Utah that would otherwise be too expensive for  

  each partner to offer.

  The Pioneer Library consortium has leveraged their funding to license the best online   library resources possible. The partners currently share four electronic library

  resources including EBSCO, ProQuest/SIRS, Deseret Morning News Archives, and

  Visual Thesaurus.
