Pioneer Library Advocate
Goal & Role

 GOAL:

 To increase awareness and use of Pioneer Library, Utah’s place for reliable and  credible online resources. Access to these resources are available to parents,  students enrolled in K-12 schools and colleges and universities, teachers and  professors, and the general public throughout the State of Utah.

The Pioneer Advocate Role is to:

  • Serve as your institution’s Pioneer Library Advocate.
  • Serve as a liaison to the Pioneer Library partners of college, Public, K-12 libraries, and other local community organizations.
  • Identify Pioneer Library awareness and utilization needs at your institution.
  • Distribute promotional materials.
  • Publish articles in local newsletters/newspapers.
  • Conduct and/or facilitate training.
  • Work with other local Advocates.
  • Share effective strategies in using Pioneer Library.
